"The Lovers" is a striking addition to the landscape of Baggot St, that was painted as part of the Dublin Canvas iniative in 2021. Painted on what was once a grey utility box, the design infuses the city streets with creativity and colour.
The inspiration for this delightful and playful illustration draws from Tarot cards, specifically "The Lovers" card. With a creative vision in mind, I sought to craft a design that would encapsulate the essence of Dublin City while venturing beyond typical stereotypes. The result is an affectionate and endearing painting that exudes warmth and charm, serving as a captivating addition to the cityscape.
