Riso Textures
One of my favourite processes in risograph printing is the exploration of various riso textures. This creative pursuit involves combining recycled test prints with other experimental methods, resulting in unique and captivating textures. By repurposing these discarded pieces, it breathes new life into them, offering a fresh and inventive perspective.
Through the overlaying and manipulation of these prints, they undergo a metamorphosis, evolving into standalone works. What makes this process even more interesting is its potential for an infinite cycle of creativity.
In addition to utilizing riso test prints, these textures have been created through the manipulation of photographs. Among them, there one piece that emerged from a photo capturing raindrops on a windowpane. However, through distorting, layering, and transforming, it has evolved far beyond recognition from its original form.

This practice intertwines design with environmental consciousness, as it harnesses the power of sustainability through the reutilization of materials. By embracing this innovative approach to risograph printing, it not only gives new purpose to seemingly discarded pieces but also contributes to a mindful and environmentally responsible artistic practice.
The versatility of these riso textures extends beyond their individual impact. Their adaptability allows them to serve multiple purposes, enhancing their utility as valuable artistic resources. Beyond their role as standalone pieces of art, these textures can be effectively employed in various creative endeavors.
