L I N N is a student-run magazine dedicated to the vibrant community of NCAD (National College of Art and Design). It aims to provide a platform for students to create their own narrative in the fashion system and provide content that is relevant to students.
LINN presents a diverse range of content, showcasing the exceptional work of both current students and NCAD alumni. Beyond its fashion focus, the magazine delves into the heart of NCAD culture, illuminating aspects such as RAG week festivities, capturing the essence of campus lifestyle, and, in this year's issue, exploring live music.

The magazine is now in its fourth year running, and as art director and head designer, my goal was to create a dymnamically designed and memorable issue. As a guiding force behind this year's edition, I made a deliberate choice to infuse the entire magazine with a cohesive and visually striking color palette. Combined with the use of black and white film photography and carefully selected sans-serif fonts, the magazine’s visual identity truly encapsulates its theme.
The theme of Issue 004 is "Anarchy: Rejecting Hierarchy," which embodies a bold and rebellious spirit, challenging conventional norms across the realms of fashion, music, and life itself. Embracing an ethos of nonconformity, the magazine empowers its readers to perceive the world through a lens that defies all rules, encouraging the unapologetic expression of authentic identities, feelings, and thoughts in the most audacious and unconventional ways imaginable.
LINN stands as a testament to the artistic brilliance and creative spirit within NCAD As a dynamic and inclusive publication, it paves the way for the next generation of artists and designers to embrace their voice and leave an enduring impact on the ever-evolving industry.
